can't see mapped drive (vpn)

Post by bradsayers »

I am connecting to a remote network via vpn.

I have one of the drives mapped in windows explorer. However, when I go to tools, options, folders, add, I do not see this mapped drive. I have version 1.3.4.686

This is a great tool, and I would really like to get it to search my mapped drive...what am I missing?

Thanks, Brad

Please make sure you map the network drives with the same user account that you run Everything with.

I connect remotely to a nas with a vpn username/password that was given to me. Not sure what that is...

I have tried running Everything with the administrator account as well as regular user account on my computer, but still the mapped drive does not appear. I make sure I am connected and can see the mapped drive in explorer first....

Hope this helps, Brad

If you run Everything as an admin, this may help:
