Hello,
I have a 2nd question, please: I made a search for "documentation" and get e.g. 10 results. Then I delete 2 files. One file disappears the other one not. The same happens when I rename 2 files. One file stays with old Name, another file is shown with new Name. I use several hdds with ntfs.
Why is there a difference?
PS: when I build database new, then all result is up to date (Control + P).
Thank you, Ralf

Are you using NTFS indexing or folder indexing?
If you are using folder indexing in Everything then it is highly likely that Everything missed changes to these folders.

I only use NTFS indexing for 10 drives. But delete/rename does only work for some results. But why?void wrote:Are you using NTFS indexing or folder indexing?
After "Force rebuild", results are OK.

Everything should never miss any changes to NTFS volumes.
Sounds like an issue with Everything's NTFS monitors.
Are you using the Everything service or are you running Everything as an administrator?
