As seen in the Resource Monitor, Everything is sending bits of data. http://i.imgur.com/HnYzChF.png
I find this odd, because I don't have it connected to anything (FTP, HTTP, whatever), so I don't see why it needs to connect to the internet unless it's sending personal data (assuming there's some vulnerability) and/or is constantly checking for updates.
Is there a list of things that I could check and enable/disable options that would help with this issue? If I turn it off, then it takes forever to start the next time.
Also, I wonder if this is why my fan whirrs up on my laptop when I lock it.
Thanks in advance. I really appreciate this app as it has helped immensely.

Re: Everything Slows Down my Download Speed
It's probably the Everything Service talking to Everything (client if you will) & nothing to do with "Internets".
Re: Everything Slows Down my Download Speed
Actually, I'm not seeing that.
And you're not using (don't have enabled) ETP/FTP or HTTP Server?
Suppose if you're connected to a NAS-like device that might show up too?

Re: Everything Slows Down my Download Speed
Everything uses the loopback adapter to communicate between the client and service.
If the network traffic concerns you, please try Everything 1.4 as it uses pipes (no network) instead of sockets (network).

@therube
I'm not connected to anything externally.

Thank you for the suggestion! I've installed the beta and will try it out.
