Gentlemen, I seek your learned advice:
As a minor project:
(1) I want to create a video catalogue of files + their size currently saved upon one of my hard-drives;
(2) I want this catalogue to appear into a file in Microsoft Word to enable me to edit it.
I have tried the following:
(1) I highlighted the video files I want to appear in my catalogue on the standard EVERYTHING database list;
(2) Then EDIT > COPY;
(2) Then FILE > EXPORT;
(3) I have experimented with a few permutations to export my highlighted selection as CSV, DOC, TXT, and so on, but all I get always is a file that contains ALL the videos in my whole collection NOT the ones I highlighted and want specifically to appear in my video catalogue.
I should like to thank you in anticipation of a solution.

Thanks for this important tip.
It gives solution also for Omit Results. Prefix ! before the filelist:
IMO, it will work better with Secondary Search (2.)
