Unable to specify sort for results

I want to see my results sorted by PATH.

I have made this setting: Options > Home > Sort > Path Ascending

However the results are ordered by Name. What could I be doing wrong?

I am using Everything v1.4.1.877 on XP.

This setting is activated when you start Everything (again),

You can change the sort method "on-the-fly" through Menu:View > Sort By .
Or click on the respective header above the result list to sort it that way

If Everything is not keeping your results sorted by path, please make sure fast path sort is enabled:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Check Fast path sort.
• Click OK.
