In the results there are shown files / folder not existing anymore. How could I find the volume, the source in Everything the are stored in to remove them without checking each volume separately?
May be with that extended information?
But when clicking it nothing seems to happen.

Re: In the results there are shown files / folder not existing anymore
You should be able to identify the volume from the result path (shown in the Path column)
Try forcing Everything to re-index this volume:
Try forcing Everything to re-index this volume:
- For example, if the path is D:\folder\subfolder, force Everything to reindex your D: drive:
- In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/reindex d:

So from this one(?):You should be able to identify the volume from the result path (shown in the Path column)
But it is not available anymore on Z:
The volume just was indexed, automatically, after plugging it in.Try forcing Everything to re-index this volume:
For example, if the path is D:\folder\subfolder, force Everything to reindex your D: drive:
In Everything, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/reindex d:
Ah, I understand it means: Read (to show, not just to update [and not to show]) extended informationRead extended information will only update the file size, dates and attributes. It will not remove results that no longer exist.
Re: In the results there are shown files / folder not existing anymore
(Is a "plugin" scan different from a Force Rebuild of the particular drive?
As in is the plugin scan only a "catch up" of what might have changed from the last time drive was plugged in?)

Re: In the results there are shown files / folder not existing anymore
Did you fix this? I am having the same issue, Everything keeps finding a folder which no longer exists. No change after refreshing or re-building the index. De-bug shows in red "os_create_file C:\Users\myusername\OD 2" which is the folder in question. Super annoying.

C:\Users\myusername\My Documents?
This folder is a "folder junction point", it usually links to c:\users\myusername\documents
Have you changed the My Documents location?
