For about the last 3 months, "Everything" (x64) began closing automatically after about 5 seconds if (after the "Loading database" phase of 3,730,484 objects), I either begin scrolling down the list or type in a search word and begin scrolling down the results list. I can't correlate it to any particular Windows 10 update. It did begin happening in the 1803 build although it wasn't immediately after the installation and it is still happening with the recent 1903 build. It has to re-load the database every time I launch it. It will stay open showing the top of the file/folders list and not close if I don't scroll through the list or type in a search word and scroll.
The x86 version works fine and doesn't close, which is what I must use now.

A common theme for the issue appears to be IOBit software. (Particularly the IOBit IMFShellExt.dll shell extension.)
Please try temporarily uninstalling any IOBit software and see if the issue persists.
