Hidden folders

I have a hidden folder containing user data (documents, photos, video clips, etc).

Everything does not index this folder. Is there a way to have this indexed?

How is it hidden?
Does it have the Hidden attribute set?
Or is it some program that creates this (virtual) hidden folder?

By default, Everything sees hidden files, unless you've changed the setting.
Tools | Options | Indexes -> Exclude
