Is there a limit to number of drives indexed

Is there a limit to number of drives indexed? I have now 25 hard drives, both internal and external, and tried to get all of them into the database. But after letting Everything index some external drives for at least two times, they don't appear in the listings, even after rebooting, etc. There are now 18 drives listed, some with duplicate drive letters because I have to use drive names such as: M1 to keep to only alpha drive identifications in Windows.
So I ask: has anyone indexed successfully a large number of drives?

Someone on this forum had 35 disks/volumes without technical issues (other than obvious problems because of running out of driveletters and thus not knowing on which disk something was).

An alternative would be using mountpoints instead of (or next to) driveletters.

Are you sure all your disks are healthy? Everything can get "lost" when there is corruption on a disk.
You can check the health of a disk with a tool like CrystalDiskInfo.
You can check data on the disk with:
- Right-click the disk > Properties > Tools Tab > Error Checking

Just realized that I forgot to mention an important point:

NTFS formatted disks will be added automatically, but other disks (like FAT32) should be added through
Menu:Tools > Options > Indexes > Folders.
