Define macro in Search or Bookmark?

Post by burgundy »

I want to define a macro to save keying in equivalent words. Is this best done as a Search (filter) or as a Bookmark?

For example I want to use this in the search bar:
liz:

to save keying in this:

liz OR betty OR elisabeth OR elsie

I think the best way is with bookmarks, because filters dont offer a macro choice.

Bookmarks / Organize Bookmarks / New
Name = Whatever (this is forced)
RememberSearch = liz|betty|elisabeth|elsie
Macro = liz

Then you just enter liz: instead of liz|betty|elisabeth|elsie.

**Edit**
I just learned filters also offers the macro choice, same method.
Search / Organize Filters / New
Name = Whatever (this is forced)
Search = liz|betty|elisabeth|elsie
Macro = liz
