Is it possible to search HDDs that do not have a Drive Letter assigned?

I have 14 HDDs in a StableBit DrivePool. These HDDs do not have Drive Letters assigned to them. Everything does not scan these HDDs nor did it scan the virual Drive Letter assigned to the StableBit DrivePool - which on my computer is assigned Drive J:

Is it possible to scan the HDDs that have no Drive Letter assigned to them? Is it possible to scan the virtual DrivePool J: on my system?

If I must, I will temporarily assign Drive Letters to the 14 HDDs in the DrivePool, and then Everything will scan them (I tried it on one HDD and that works). Thanks for any help.

What format is your StableBit DrivePool? (eg: FAT/NTFS/ReFS)

If it is non-NTFS, try adding it as a folder index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Select your StableBit DrivePool and click OK.
• Click OK.

What about mounting your drives under a folder on another drive (eg: C:\mnt\drive1,C:\mnt\drive2,C:\mnt\drive3,...)
From Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management -> Select volume -> Right click Change drive letter and paths -> Add

The 14 HDDs in my StableBit DrivePool are NTFS format. DrivePool does not require the HDDs to have Drive Letter assignments, and since I have so many HDDs in the pool, I removed the Drive Letter assignments to clean up my File Explorer desktop. StableBit DrivePool handles all those files in the background and everything I need to see is on the DrivePool J: drive.

Everything was recommended to my by the guys on the DrivePool forums. I am having an issue with a program (Kodi) that cannot see files on the HDDs that are connected to the computer via an external USB hub. At least, that is what is suspected and I will be using Everything to verify what files cannot be loaded and exactly what HDDs those files are on. If those files are all on HDDs that are connected to a USB hub, then I will have to relocate those files to other HDDs that connect directly to the computer and not via the USB hub.

I understand your suggestion of mounting the drives under a folder on another drive, but DrivePool does a good job handling all the files in hidden folders on each HDD. I don't want to mess that up. It would be a lot easier to temporarily reassign Drive Letters to the 14 HDDs for troubleshooting.

I have only started using Everything, but am amazed at how fast it is in searching. I can see why Everything was recommended. Thanks.
