Video/Photo Thumbnails in details view?

I've searched but haven't found anything on this - is there any way, or planned functionality, to view thumbnails in detail view?

I've tried zooming-in hoping the thumbnail would show, but to no avail.

OR is there a way to view Thumbnails (alt-1, alt-2) with additional details about each file visible, like below filename or similar?

Unfortunately, no.

Showing thumbnails instead of icons in detail view is still on my TODO list.

Could you suggest any kind of workaround to search for files, see thumbnails and show some file details available?
