solved:lost focus of the search field after 2,3 or 4 letters

Hi,

every time I fill the search field with some letters, it stops after 2, 3 or 4 inputs an the focus is lost.
I´ve to click in the search field to continue my input.

I´ve tried a lot of things in the options (Everything-1.2.1.451a and Everything-1.2.1.371) without success.

Is "Everything" still the the foreground window after the focus is lost?
Try pressing tab, are you able to re-focus the edit control after focus is lost?

When the edit focus is lost, can you see what control has stolen the focus?

Try running in debug mode (Everything.exe -debug), what is displayed in the debug console when the focus is lost?

For a long time I searched for this focus grabbing prog - but I can´t identify a systematic correlation between Everything and another prog.

Trying the debug mode, I could not find anything suspicious.
Here a part of the log if I try to write "hostelli" - focus is lost after "hos"

after uninstalling AnVir Task Manager Pro, the focus remains in the searchfield

Wonder if AnVir may have used some hotkey combo or the like that was conflicting with Everything?
