I like the fact that when closing the sidebar the last used folder is still highlighted on re-opening but when this is in operation it limits the search resulte in the main window until it's cleared in the status box, which then loses the highlighted folder.
Is it possible to also have everything just simply remember the last folder highlighted when sidebar is re-opened in the same session and between different sessions?

Re: treeview_clear_selection_on_close
Or possibly some kind of bookmark system...
Re: treeview_clear_selection_on_close
I have put on my TODO list to add an option to only search for the active folder when the folder sidebar is opened.
This would keep your folder sidebar selection when closed.
When the folder sidebar is shown, your selection will be restored.
The selection would limit your search results only when the folder sidebar is shown.
Thank you for the suggestions.

Brill, thanks.
I may have asked before, I can't remember, but is there a way of showing desktop at the top of the list similar to Explorer tree view?
I use it quite a lot and I have to navigate to it each time.

Currently, no.
This might be possible when I add 'favourites'.
For now, please consider creating a bookmark to jump to your desktop folder:

- In Everything, from the Bookmark menu, click Add to bookmarks....

Explore Desktop - Change the Search to:
/explore C:\Users\<username>\Desktop - where <username> is your username.
