Hello:
Everything is a great app!!!! Thanks!
However, it no longer open up in the tray every time I start Windows 7
Ultimate 64-bit.
I have normally 5 icons (incl. Everything) shown in the tray. Now only 4.
When I click the up arrow in the tray, Everything is not shown among the
11 icons appearing. However, when I click "Customize", Everything is in the
list (Show icon and notifications), but with no icon. (Hm, no icon; that
may be significant.)
"Everything" is not hidden and clickable in the try (I have clicked around!).
Anything I can do to fix this?

Re: Everything not showing up in tray
Please confirm Everything is actually running.
Try running Everything from the start menu -> Everything -> Search Everything
In the General tab, please make sure:

Re: Everything not showing up in tray
This is where I have my link (to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Everything\Everything.exe" -startup ):
C:\Users\[My id]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Everything.lnk
Is that okay?
Also, how do I subscribe to (my own) posts? Believe me, I have looked! I find now that "Notfiy me ... posted" is checked, but I never got a response to your response.

In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
Under the General Tab, is Show tray icon checked?

At the bottom of the page there should be an option to Subscribe topic.how do I subscribe to (my own) posts?

Re: Everything not showing up in tray
Please make sure Run in background and Start Everything on system startup are both checked.
Re: Everything not showing up in tray
They have always been checked.
Right now, Everything is shown in the tray. I'll get back here next time it does not (if that happens).
