using function as filter

Post by sk2107 »

Hi,
can use function as a filter?
for example:

indexvolumelabel:drive_c to be used as vlm:drive_c

hope the idea is clear.

thank you

To create a filter macro:
  • In Everything, from the Search menu, click Add to filters....
    Change the Name to: Index Volume Label
    Change the Search to: indexvolumelabel:search:
    Change the Macro to: vlm<search>
    Click OK.
Now when you search for vlm:drive_c it is replaced with indexvolumelabel:drive_c

To avoid creating a filter, please try defining a macro.
