The subject header says it all. I don't use a music manager. mp3s, generally with title and artist in their file names, are in a file structure of my own preference in My_Music. I use Everything to locate specific files.
But take last night, for example. I was looking for a specific mp3 and entered the performer's last name. Nothing! I've seen this before, so I deleted the database, let Everything reconstruct it, reran my search, and...Voila!
This seems to be happening a lot. lately. I switched from 1.2.1.371 to 1.3.0.632b hoping things would be better, but now that the beta is running for a few days, the same problem keeps occurring.
I know there are issues with Dropbox (the file from last night was not in Dropbox, but it was in a Cubby). My Exclude list says to include
c:\
c:\<Dropbox folder>
Otherwise, Win XP/Pro SP3
Any thoughts? Any other information I could provide to help track this down?
Thanks!
Why is my database getting corrupted so frequently?

Verify that you don't have something like Match Whole Word or Match Case selected?
Run a CHKDSK on your drive?
See if there happens to be any related Errorlog.txt in the Everything directory?
