Title says it all. Everything is completely broken because I can't search up anything else aside from all these irrelevant files. I didn't put in any search terms. Whenever I reinstall, it works fine the first time it's open but then has the same issue.
These files go on for effectively forever.
Same issue here.
Everything here is just random... I don't know why it's doing this. Is this an issue with Windows 11? How do I fix this?
Everything ONLY showing nonexistant, random, irrelevant and unusual files on Windows 11
Re: Everything ONLY showing nonexistant, random, irrelevant and unusual files on Windows 11
By default, when Everything opens, all files are shown.
When you enter a search term, the results should then be filtered.
Search for.
Are you not then shown files that contain the string "license.txt" (in the file name &/or path)?

I do. It seems to be only system files and also other random files.. When I search for something else, like a song saved on my computer, it doesn't show up.

What is the search term you are using?
Is the song stored on a local drive or elsewhere?

I only have my main drive and google drive. The songs are stored on my local drive. The search term is just the name of the song and nothing else. The song does not show up when I search it.

This issue can happen when your Everything.db is filled with zeroes.
(database corruption)
Please make sure your system is shutting down gracefully.
To fix the issue for Everything 1.4, please force a rebuild:
Everything 1.5 will perform Everything.db CRC32 checks and automatically reindex on database corruption.
Everything 1.5 will also flush the Everything.db to disk on system shutdown.
