I scanned that file with Kaspersky and Avira AntiVirus before installation, and there was no warning.
But , when I was installing Everything-1.3.1.636beta.exe, I got an alarm(Trojan.win32.genric) from Kaspersky IS v13.
So I checked the file in 2 ways.
1. check md5 value
OK
2. upload to virustotal.com
OK (https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/6544 ... 361494274/)
It's weird that the file itself is OK but installing is not OK.
So, I extracted the files from Everything-1.3.1.636beta.exe by 7zip
And I checked the all files, but all files are OK.
I'm not sure Everything-1.3.1.636beta.exe is safe or not.
Sorry for my poor English.
False alarm for Everything-1.3.1.636beta.exe ?
Re: False alarm for Everything-1.3.1.636beta.exe ?
This is a false positive.
Do you get this warning with the portable version?
Do you get this warning when the service is not installed?

I've read the similar post here. it's about v1.2.1.451a's false positve
Virus / false positive in Everything-1.2.1.451a ? (http://forum.voidtools.com/viewtopic.ph ... irus#p3588)
In that post, excutable file got false positve.
That means, in my humble opinion, I guess that installer program(installation software like InstallShield) makes the trouble.
