On my laptop I've installed a SSD and a hard drive (my A & B drive) and a ESATA external drive (my D drive) . I took a 115GB chunk of the 220GB SSD and created my A drive. In my second drive port I installed a 500GB hard drive, this is my B drive. Attached is a 2TB external ESATA drive (my D drive). When I start Everything v1.3.2.644b and attempt to search either my A or B drive nothing is displayed in the search results section. If I search either my C (the SSD boot section) or the ESATA drive I see whatever I'm searching for. Both the A and B are NTSF drives on my Win8 x64 system.
In the Options for Indexes under NTFS I do see my A and B drives listed.
In the above section of the Options if I check the box "Include in database" I then see what I'm searching for. Is it normal that I would have to check this box?
1.3.2.644b does not display contents of A & B
Re: 1.3.2.644b does not display contents of A & B
Yes, the A: and B: drive are not included by default. Is it normal that I would have to check this box?
This avoids problems with attempting to access floppy drive media.
Re: 1.3.2.644b does not display contents of A & B
I have modified Everything for the next release so the A: and B: drive are included by default if they are fixed volumes.
