When editing items in the Filters dialog, there may be a sense that each edit OK fully commits them (depending on what the other programs the user habitually uses happen to do in that sort of tiered situation).
In fact this doesn't happen till the ancestral OK is pressed.
* So when a person clicks the X close button if there have been changes it should ask whether to commit them or not - at the moment it abandons the edits without warning. I've been caught out a few times by this (including just now!)
