Hi
I have some external hard drives that I mount when I need them. Everything remembers the contents of the various hard drives but it marks them all in the H: drive (which is the one that is mounted) The problem is that I don't understand if a file is on an external hard drive or another.
Is there a way to show as Path not the letter of the connected drive but the name of the Hard Drive?
For example, instead of:
H:
have
Telefilm (external hard drive)
or
Film (external hard drive)
Maybe I explained myself badly, I hope you can understand
remember Hard Disk name...

Fantastic, thanks
Re: remember Hard Disk name...
I was thinking that another column would not be the best solution because it would take away precious space from the interface. Moreover for a column that would be useful only when connecting an external hard disk.void wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 10:41 pm Everything 1.5 will have an optional Index Volume Label column.
Thank you for the suggestion.
I was wondering if it was possible to have everything inside the Path column. It would be much easier also to have a quick view of all the files present.
I, would put the name of the Hard Disk at the beginning of the Path, for example:
ED: Film - Path
ED would mean External Drive
Film would be the name of the hard disk
and Path the path.
And by clicking on the Path bar we could easily sort our results having everything in a single column.
Sorry, I woke up like this

I am considering an option to show the volume label in the Path column.
Thank you for the suggestion.
