Regular error pop-up

Post by fuzzychicken »

Hello folks,

Have been getting following pop-up quite often. Can not figure out what is going on? The search isn't been working as good.
Any solution is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Oh just guessing, but might look into: Tools | Options | Indexes -> NTFS & adjust the USN Journal size?

Oh, this is probably not it (different message), ah, but you're on Win8, so maybe MS changed the terminology?:

Not enough server storage is available to process this command - Revisited.

(It would only be too funny if it does in fact turn out to be that.)

This is Windows 7 Home edition 64-bit
And I am not using any kind of server.

I don't find Indexes under option pop-up, but there is checkbox in Volume tab 'Enable USN journal logging', Max size 940544 Kb. Is this what you are talking about?

"Server" is just terminology used. It has nothing to do with you running a "server".

You could check Error Console & see if related errors, Event ID 2011, turn up.
(Could be, with Win8 that things are different, even with the ID number? Don't use 8, so I wouldn't have a clue?)

What version of Everything are you running?
If not 1.3.3.658b, that's what I would suggest as a start.

That's what I show for my drives.
There may be a FAQ around or posts in the forums as to just what those numbers mean & how changing them may or may not affect things?

In any case, my 32768 KB is far smaller then your 940544 Kb, perhaps, depending on 'B' or 'b' (Bytes or bits).

Oh, heh, http://forum.voidtools.com/search.php?k ... mit=Search.

Thank you for the link to newer version. I was using 1.2.1.371
Too bad that this program does not have a functionality of auto-update or a reminder.

I kept the default as it is, will see how it goes. If there is any error, I will revisit.

Thanks again for all help.
