Unable to open c:\, d:\, e:\ etc... from the Search Everythi

Just an FYI.
Downloaded Everything yesterday. First use, ever.
Everything-1.2.1.371.exe

This problem seems to have reared it's head again. At least it has on my machine.

I'm on Windows XP... all service packs and updates installed.

I'm not seeing this issue, though I am using "Everything" version 1.2.1.451a.
Give that a shot & see if it helps.

Amazing program. Fast doesn't describe it. Lightening is better!

The same problem is still there on Everything-1.2.1.371 - but the same registry fix works.

Time to try version 1.2.1.451a - 20 times faster? How can it be any faster

Maybe having already tweaked the registry will have already fixed it permanently for the new version too.
