I do not understand this:
Should one activate it?URL protocol
Open Everything from es: urls.
For example, when clicking on es:abc123 Everything will launch and populate the search with abc123.

Ah, OK, thank you. Looks good. Here is an example and picture from user NotNull.
Yes, that sounds very good. Could I achieve anything similar by replacing Firefox with a further Everything window? Say, I want to open a folder (get the folder name in the search field) / show the content of a folder in the search result in another Everything window. Or show the folder / path in the folder panel to display its content in the result list? But being able to do that, rather simply sets you in the right direction to determine if you do or do not have the latest & greatest.

Me? Yes, all the time actually unfortunately. Not quite following?
Actually I want to display the (entire) content of the folder with just one or two clicks / key presses containing the file Everything found. So if Everything find file xyz.ext and I click / press a key then the same Everything instance or another would show the content (including the contents of the sub folders or not, if both variations would be possible) of the folder in the result list. From within Everything, you want to open another Everything window with the current Path as its' search?
Would be possible only, if the drive with the path is online, I suppose.IOW, instead of, context-menu - Open Path (in Windows Explorer),
I am not yet exactly sure, but it somehow sounds very good.you want a context-menu - Open Path (in new Everything window)?
