I want to hide the everything tray icon, however I do not like the windows built-in (win7) hide tray icon feature where it puts a double arrow in the tray. So instead, I find a way to hide those icons I do not want. Most programs have a "hide tray icon" ability, but it seems like Everything does not.
There are separate programs that are built to manage your tray icons, but they themselves put an icon in the tray in order to access their tray icon manager. So the question is, is there any way to hide the tray icon other than telling windows taskbar to hide it, in which case windows puts that double-arrow down there?
