Running 1.5.1383a.
I used Tools > Options > Properties to add three properties to be indexed - Camera Model, People, and Tags.
I clicked Apply, and the left my PC running for a long time, to allow the specified properties to be added to the Everything index.
Then, just as a test, I did a search to display a subset of JPG files having a location in common.
Then I used Shift+Arrow keys to highlight multiple files for purposes of entering Tags for those files.
I pressed Alt+Enter to bring up the Properties dialog, so I could enter the Tags in the Details tab of the Properties dialog.
1.5.1383a is crashing immediately after I press Alt+Enter. When I restart Everything, the message "Indexing Properties" appears in the status bar, along with the green progress bar.
When I hover over the green progress bar, I see "Indexing properties ... 96%".
It took a very long time to finish indexing, which makes me think that tags previously indexed were lost from the index.
While the indexing was going on, the Tags column did not populate with the Tags I had already entered.
However, if I highlight a single file, I can press Alt+Enter, activate the Details tab, and see the Tags I've entered for that file.
Once the indexing completed, some Tags populated into the Everything Tags column.
Next I highlighted just two files, and pressed Alt+Enter to bring up the Properties dialog.
Everything crashed again immediately with the "Everything has stopped working" box popping up.
On restart I'm back to "indexing properties ... 96%".

Re: crashes when bringing up Properties dialog to enter property values for multiple selected files
Everything shows the property dialog by invoking the "property" VERB through the context menu.
A context menu shell extension is crashing and bringing down Everything.
What context menu shell extensions do you have installed?
ShellExView can be used to view and disable Shell Extensions.

Re: crashes when bringing up Properties dialog to enter property values for multiple selected files
I ran ShellExView and filtered the list to show only the non-Microsoft Context Menu extensions. Here's the list:
Next using ShellExView I disabled all of these extensions. Then I highlighted some JPG files in Everything, and pressed Alt+Enter to bring up the Properties dialog. Now Everything did not crash as I mentioned above.
Then I started re-enabling the disabled extensions one at a time, and after I re-enabled each extension, I tried displaying the properties dialog using Alt+Enter. I thought that re-enabling one of the extensions might cause the crash, but the crash did not reoccur. Nor did the crash reoccur after I used the dialog to enter some Tags. I tried killing and restarting Explorer.exe after re-enabling the Context Menu extensions, but this did not bring back the crashes. I shut down and restarted the PC and the crashes did not come back.
I guess I just need to wait and see if the crashes come back.
