I've been having troubles with deleted files remaining in the database. I have two illustrations of the problem.
The first is a series of ttf font files that have been deleted yet remain in the directory without Date Modified/Size values. (The highlighted files -275- are valid.)
I then tried to delete the Everything databases and have similar files without Date Modified/Size values and Everything DB continuing to work.
By delete, do you mean delete to the recycle bin?
If so, if you do not have the recycle bin indexed these files wills remain in the index (This is a known bug).
Make sure Everything is not running when you delete the Everything.db.
Does forcing a database rebuild still find these files?
To force a database rebuild:
In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
