Delaying Scanning and Sorting of Certain Drives||Folders
How to turn on Option so that {program intelligently schedules scanning "Windows Drive, Program Files etc." (where large number of files which user doesn't need), Manually Delay Scanning certain Folders||Drives} is delayed before displaying First scan of results (as this is delaying program "startup" esp when multiple Disks are present where Different Operating System are present).

"Everything" tries to be always up to date.
If you do not run "Everything" often, please consider performing a schedule index update:
To have "Everything" update the index and exit:
Run Everything.exe with the following command line option:
Everything.exe -update -exit
To stop "Everything" from updating:

@void:
In my experience (*) it is the reading of the USN journal that is causing this delay
@_pa89: Does it help when you enable Start Everything on startup? ( Menu:Tools > Options > General )
That way most of the "updating work" is already done during login.
(*) I like to work on slow computers. That gives me useful information about bottlenecks, which I can use to optimize systems.

Thanks for the Reply.
The Problem = Delay happens only when I have my external Harddisk (|| Pendrive) with Multiple Windows OS {Connected , Removed} (Repeadtedly) when everything always tries to be upto date instead of popping out intial results.
Thanks for the Reply.
I expected it to be intelligently "up to date" instead of stopping user for that procedure.= Results till Scanned ?"Everything" tries to be always up to date.
I always run everything in background (also installed it as a service)."If you do not run "Everything" often"
