Show the (enabled / disabled) search options in the GUI ?

Is there a way to show the (enabled / disabled) search options in the GUI (without having to show the "Search" menu, e.g. in the status bar or so or by just marking / coloring "Search" (if an option is enabled) or such? So one always would see which ones are en/disabled.

As far as I know, there is just the Status Bar indicators at bottom, and I hope it will be better solution in Everything 1.5.

I know I want too much, but.. Will we still be able to configurate the toolbar buttons from the command-line?
It would be a great scriptable thing!
