How To Make Alternate Row Colors?

In an earlier version of Everything I used to be able to set up the alternate row colors functionality, but now it doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong?
I'm running Search Everything 1.4.1.895 (x86) in a Win 10 64-bit system.

To enable alternate row color:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the View tab on the left.
• Check Alternate row color.
• Click OK.
