Is there a straightforward way of changing text or background colour for alternate lines when checking search results? This would make life easier for an 'oldie' with deteriorating eyesight.
Have tried changing various settings in 'Tools / Options / Fonts and Colors', but none seem to make any obvious difference at all, let alone what I was hoping for!
Can anyone help please?

Thanks for helpful suggestions.
raccoon's one concerning alternate row color is principally what I was looking for, but will follow up the other to make display more colourful.

Thanks notnull. Not being very computer-literate wasn't at all sure what this would do from description. However, as soon as I selected a file it became apparent with whole file line details highlighted. This, and the various other suggestions, have helped considerably.
