How to remove / avoid displaying double entries in the result?
How to remove / avoid displaying double entries in the result?
There are folders, files shown in the result not existing anymore or being double entries. How could I remove those respectively find the source, the volume?
Re: How to remove / avoid displaying double entries in the result?
Many thanks for the link. But I do not have others than NTFS volumes, no folders, file lists and such.

Examples of folder & files that show as duplicated.
And a screenshot too would help.

Many thanks for the screenshot.
Yes, my back ups are indexed, too.
I now tried to find the duplicate entries by using fsi:. fsi:38 and fsi:39 show drive I:. I created a new file to see which of the indexes would show it but none of them did. When I reindex drive I: (if it will be indexed I remove the other I: volume and if it cannot be indexed I will remove the same volume) all the other volumes (above all of the drives not being plugged in at the moment) are kept untouched?

I assume (but I am not sure), the reason is I bought a new drive for I: and copied the data from the old I: drive to the new one. And the content of the old drive is kept...ah no, it - of course - is indexed / reindexed and cannot have the old I: data anymore. Or...it has another drive letter now, "O".Oh, you could try a Force Rebuild of the index & see what happens with that.
But more interesting would be to figure out just why you're showing dups.

Re: How to remove / avoid displaying double entries in the result?
If I understood correctly, this should get rid of your "old" I:-drive:
- Connect your new I:-drive
- Go to Menu:Tools > Options > Indexes > NTFS
In the list of Local NTFS volumes, you will see two (or more?) I:-drives.
One of them will be Offline Disk (I:).
That has to be the old one as the new one is now online - Select the Offline Disk (I:) i the list of Local NTFS volumes.
- Click the Remove button
- Click OK
