A Dump file gives a detailed snapshot of the internal state of Everything which is useful for debugging.
How do I create a Dump file?
Press Ctrl+Shift+ESC to open the Windows Task Manager.
Click the Processes tab or Details tab (Windows 8)
Right click the Everything process (if you have two processes, make sure it's the one running as your user name) and click Create Dump File.
Take a note of the dump location, it is usually located here:
Code: Select all
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\Everything.DMP
Please send the compressed file to support@voidtools.com
Do not post it on the forums.
