If Store settings and data in %APPDATA%\Everything is disabled, the following files are created in the same location as your Everything.exe.
Bookmarks.csv
- A list of all Everything bookmarks from the Bookmark menu in Everything.
- The Everything index. This file can be deleted when Everything is not running. Everything will recreate the Everything.db the next time Everything is run.
- The configuration file for Everything. Updated when an Everything search window is closed or when an option is applied in the Everything Options window.
- A list of all Everything search filters from the Search menu in Everything.
- A list of items that have been run in Everything and how many times they have been run.
Only created if Run History is enabled.
- A list of searches that have been performed in Everything.
Only created if Search History is enabled.
Logs\ETP_Server_Log.txt
- Server log files. Updated on disk for each log event.
- Error log. Updated on disk for each log event.
If not mentioned, files are updated when you exit Everything.
Backing up and restoring
Make sure Everything is not running before backing up or restoring any of these files.
CSV
CSV files, or Comma Separated Values files can be opened and modified with Excel or Notepad.

The following files are created for temporary storage.
