hello. i was wondering if it were possible to only show files in my search results by using the excludes. right now i have it set up so it only shows files with an .rdo extension, but it also lists folders in the search location as well.
pretty much, i have Everything set up to index a particular folder. in that folder are about 7 subfolders, each folder containing a couple hundred .rdo files. but when i open up Everything without typing in a search string, it lists only those .rdo files but also all those sub folders. i know i can type in ".rdo" with the search string, and it will filter out the subfolders from view, but i'm trying to find a way to just have them completely unlisted without having to do this.
only show files, no folders.
Re: only show files, no folders.
I have implemented filters for the next release.
Filters will allow you to show file results only.
You can test this now with the latest alpha release.
To add a new file only filter:

Re: only show files, no folders.
Can filter be specified on search line ?
Clicking makes things slower.
IPC maybe ?
