So, Search Everything seems it doesn't search on specific partition.
The partition in question it's (let's say) D, which is NTFS.
I open the PC and and SE (Search Everything) starts at start up. I search something on D and I find it. After 2 hours, I search for the same file and I doesn't seem to find it anymore. In fact, SE seems it can't find any files on D.
Without checking for errors on D or any things, I uninstall SE and reinstall it and the SE is working again like a charm WITHOUT restarting the operating system.
Could you explain please what is the problem?
Search Everything don't search on specific partitions
Re: Search Everything don't search on specific partitions
What OS?
What version of Everything?
Are you effecting the search in the same manner each time?
(IOW from Windows Explorer, or sometimes from Explorer & other times from within some other File Manager?)
Are you running as an Admin or Limited user?
Are you running the Everything service?
Any related errors in Everything's log file?

Re: Search Everything don't search on specific partitions
Windows XP SP3
v 1.2.1.371
Yes.
Administrator.
I don't know what that means. In Services windows from XP, I don't see any services named Everything or Search Everything.
I found out the problem: http://forum.voidtools.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=481
Thank you.
